BODY

Warning: Choking hazard due to small parts.  If you are making this item for a child under the age of 3 years please embroider facial features and eliminate the buttons.

Rnd 1) With White yarn, ch 2, work 6 sc in second ch from hook, join to first sc with a sl st, DO NOT TURN (6 sc)

Rnd 2) 2 sc in next sc and in each sc around (12 sc)

Rnd 3) 2 sc in each sc around (24 sc)

Rnd 4) *sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc; repeat from * around (36 sc)

Rnd 5-6) Sc in each sc around (36 sc)

Sew the two front pieces to the back piece under both arms and at both shoulders. With Burgundy yarn, sc around arm holes and along all outer edges of front and back. Put vest on doll. Sew vest closed. Sew on buttons.

Rnd 1: With Burgundy, ch 18, being careful not to twist chain, join to first ch to form a ring, ch 1, sc in each ch around (18 sc)
